Celebrating Goldie Mamas
As Mother's Day approaches, we're taking a moment to celebrate the amazing moms (and daughters who appreciate their mamas) in our Goldie world, who bring so much love, strength, and inspiration to our community. To all the moms, grandmas, aunts, and mother figures out there, we thank you for your endless sacrifices, love, and wisdom. Your resilience and nurturing spirit inspire us every day, reminding us to cherish the connections that matter most.

What’s the greatest lesson you’ve learned in being a mom?
Patience and trust. There is no “right” way to be a mother and children will ultimately figure things out in their own time, in their own style. I’ve learned not to compare myself or my children to others, we are all unique individuals and comparing can be detrimental to self esteem.
What does work life balance look like for you?
It’s a constant juggling act, I wear many hats and I love them all. Being a mom is always my first priority but I know that I need to take care of myself so I can take care of my family and my business. For me that means making sure I take time to exercise (because movement is my medicine), sleep enough, eat well and make sure my relationships are in order. In a day I may drop off at school, teach or take yoga, take a power nap, meet with clients, drive to practices, make dinner, and then conk out. Some days are busier than others but I know that if I don’t make time for self care I won’t have the energy for my busy schedule.

What is your favorite quality about your mom?
My favorite qualities about my mom are her strength and confidence. She is not afraid of what people think and does what she wants regardless of other’s opinions.
What is the best lesson you've learned from your mom?
The best lesson I’ve learned from my mom is to believe in myself and know that I can do whatever I want if I put my mind to it.

What’s something you hope to pass onto your children? My work ethics… Work hard, play hard! They are adults now and they see and appreciate all my hard work as a mom and Boss lady.

What’s something you hope to pass onto your children? The undying love of the beautiful truth at play in all of creation, with inspirational devotion to the unfolding of the higher purpose at play. An ability to create beauty out of anything, and fearlessness that promotes a resilience and core strength through any and all challenges. Divine protection and inner knowing.
What is your daily mama uniform? I love the cozy nature of simplicity, and the effortless dress code that combines comfort with functional style. I tend toward the basic bests, which is why I adore the Goldie line. I wear each piece with gratitude for the quality of simple and clean options that are so easy to pair anything with.
